Your store's public product feed: titles, descriptions, types, tags, vendors, prices and images. The first 50 products, indexed through the same enrichment and embedding pipeline production uses. No customer data, no orders.
Not the demo. It reads the public product feed every Shopify store publishes. Cerno itself runs on headless and custom storefronts through the API and SDK. Email hello@cernosearch.com and we'll walk you through it on your platform.
Yes. The demo runs the production pipeline against a temporary index. Keyword queries hit the regional index, vague ones fall through to semantic search, and the results are ranked the same way. The only differences are the 50-product cap and the missing merchandising rules, which you add after installing.
The index deletes itself one hour after it was built. Nothing from the demo is kept or reused. Revisiting the same URL within the hour reuses the cached index instead of building a new one.
Theme search matches words in titles. Cerno matches on meaning, so a query that names no product still returns the products that fit, and misspellings resolve on their own. Exact queries stay instant, because they never touch a model. There is no synonym list to maintain.
